Academic Support Centre

Academic Support Centre is located in Room "Study Here", first floor of the main building. Opening Hours: Mon - Sat, 09:00 a.m. - 08:00 p.m.
Please note that during the first two weeks of each Semester there will be longer opening hours.

Coronet

The popular 'state of the art' students' cafeteria is based on the back side of the building, left to the alley of students' entrance. Coronet is open from 09:30 a.m. to 08:00 p.m.

Eating and Drinking

In common with the rest of the institute, eating and drinking in all teaching rooms is not allowed except for special functions notified to Corporate Coordinator / Support Services Coordinator.

Emergency Procedures

Written emergency procedures are available from Reception and the Campus Facilities Office.

First Aid

First Aid notices are displayed around campus and provide names and telephone numbers of local First Aiders. Campus reception has quick access to First Aiders, you are advised to contact reception immediately.

Health and Safety

All health and safety concerns, no matter how small, should be reported promptly to the campus reception. If you should suffer an injury please contact the reception.

Academic computing support :

Situated on first floor of Main twenty five terminal room plus two specialist rooms open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday

Language Centre

Situated on the ground floor of main building

The Art & Design Labs

All Art & Design labs and studios (including the Stitching lab, Pattern cutting lab, Design studio, Drawing studio) are based on the first floor behind the fashion display window
Please check the term opening timings from the Art & Design lecturers' room on the first floor of the main campus

Lost and found

Any articles lost or found should be reported to the reception desk. We would advise that you never leave your bags and coats unattended whilst in Computer Rooms, Library or Lecture Halls etc

Parking

Car Parking is limited on the Lahore campus. The campus is served by good public transport links and staff, students and visitors are encouraged to use public transport wherever possible. The parking space in front of the building, however, does entertain reasonable number of vehicles, parked on 'parking at owners' risk' rule.
Parking is NOT restricted to staff / visitors. At present, a satisfactory first-come, first-served car parking facility is responsibly observed. Staff and visitors who can find no campus car parking space should avoid causing obstructions or creating dangerous situations for local residents/ community, and also ensure that the traffic laws are adhered strictly.

There is the photocopiers' cabinet in front of Coronet

Smoking

STEP has a "no smoking policy" on its campus which applies to all interior areas

Student Services, ARC, Student Union Offices

The Student Services, ARC (Assessment & Result Centre) and the Student Union Offices are all located on the ground floor, behind the students' entrance mainly known as ARC.

Finance Section

The Finance Office is situated next to the Information & Counselling area on the ground floor. Open 10.00 a.m. - 9 p.m. during term time
