The Student Council of STEP vibrantly arranged the long awaited party of its own kind ... yes, it was a real "Paindu Party"!!

The colourful event was organised on the Saturday eve, June 11, 2005. Invitees started pooling in the 'paindu kath' from 05:00 p.m. and the party rocked untill midnight.

The premises was beautifully skanned into all colours and assessories of the real 'paindu touch'! Walls were draped by mud and lanterns were put to give the original feeling. Food that was served was another paindu treat by the organisers ... Jalebi, Parathe, Saag, Lassi, Goole ... enough to bring litres of water in mouth, isn't it?

The punjabi music hit all and literally no one was escaped from joining the bhangra team! The dhol performers added further falvour to the dancing scenes.

The most significant aspect of the whole event was the beautiful way all students carry their 'punjabi cum paindu' dresses. Girls were wearing those fabolous 'parandas & bangles' and boys ... dont ask! Lacha, kurta, pag te patka ... made all the real paindoos.

The concept was very were handle by the event organisers and we really want to acknowledge the countless efforts and team spirit of the council team and all others who helped them putting this memorable show brilliantly. And now every one is desparately waiting for the next episode ... meaning the next such event!!

Once again very well done all organisers and participants. They say innovation is the key to success in life and we are all proud of your innovative minds & creativity.
